Ethan Polen Motion NYC

Entailing this assignment, we were required to take photos of "models" who provided a variety of different poses and settings, allowing for optimal pictures. We had Taylor Weeks, (one of my classmates) positioned as our model. We threw him int different scenarios to obtain a variety of complex and thought out pieces. We tried to put envelop the models within multiple colors with their full-body in the frame. Overall, this project was extremely fun and allowed for practice with different angles and abstract settings. 

On tuesday October 1st,  the 9th grade photo class of Newark Academy embarked on a journey to the 'Big Apple'. We were assigned to take photos of the advanced dancers while in motion, on objects, and taking poses while contrasted with different selective backgrounds. We traveled along the New York highline, with many different props and colors. The photos seemed to come out best when a contrast of color was applied. After editing and deleting the collection, these final 10 photos were deemed the prize of the collection.  o
